In 2011, CAPA is sponsoring multiple charitible organizations, thanks to
a very successful 2010 Statewide Conference! CAPA continues its ongoing support of Stone Creek Elementary. In
addition, CAPA is also sponsoring the foster children in Walker County, having made a donation to the Walker County Foster
& Adoptive Parent Association. The association makes sure that children in foster care have the opportunity to participate
in activities such as Easter and Christmas parties, trips to the aquarium, trips to Lake Winnie, etc. to increase the
quality of life for these children. CAPA will also be sponsoring the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation this year.
We have purchased a mile marker for a walk on October 22 to raise awareness and help raise funds for a cure.
All organizations that CAPA supports have personal meaning to at least one of our members. CAPA also sponsored the Boys
& Girls Club this year. If you are a CAPA member and want CAPA to help to support your organization, please submit
the form below. The charity officer will review the request and make a decision based on merit, the goals of our organization
and available funds.
