2011 CAPA Officers
Roles of Officers in CAPA:
President:
obtain speakers for meetings (with the help of other officers), plan and organize meetings-both chapter and officer meetings,
be present to lead meetings and make arrangements for the VP to step in when absent, overall general leadership of the chapter
Vice President:
coordinate membership dues and registration, recruitment of new members, provide a welcome packet to new members/attendees,
communicate with new members and with members who are not currently active or who have been absent from several meetings.
Secretary:
takes minutes of all chapter and officer meetings, obtain RCH for each meeting, and prepare certificates for RCH
Treasurer:
responsible for the chapter bank account, make deposits, accept money at meetings, reconcile the bank statement, provide a
treasury report at each meeting
Communications: responsible for updating and maintaining the
chapter website, create email blasts from information given by President, VP, and Secretary, maintains and monitors the chapter
email account.
